My name is Olivia Dennis. I am a grade 8 student at Monck Public School. For one of our school projects this spring we are doing a passion project. For my passion project, I decided I wanted to do something kind for the residents of local retirement homes as I feel this past year has been particularly difficult for them.
As part of my project, I learned how to sew and how to do calligraphy. I have made some sewn hearts filled with lavender and a few just filled with stuffing as well as a card to give to some

As part of my project, I learned how to sew and how to do calligraphy. I have made some sewn hearts filled with lavender and a few just filled with stuffing as well as a card to give to some of the residents in Bracebridge. I thought that perhaps they could place the sachet in their drawer so they know that people are thinking of them when they are lonely. I also wrote a personalized card for each resident with a positive quotation.
My hope is that it will make them smile.

The Pines would like to Thank Olivia for her generous and thoughtful gift.
