Notice to Tenants and Staff: 102 Pine Street and The Pines LTCF 98 Pine Street
RE: Phase 2- Site Blasting at 100 Pine- Monday, March 31 to Friday, April 4
Between 8:00am and 5:00pm

Phase 2 of rock blasting will tentatively commence on Monday, March 31 until approximately Friday, April 4, 2025, to complete the expansion of the parking area, located at the north end of the construction site behind the rear parking areas. To minimize disruption to the property, localized blasting is being completed to avoid the prolonged noise that would result from the use of mechanical equipment to fracture and remove the rock. This blasting will be similar in noise to Phase 1 completed in fall 2024.

Residents will hear a three-horn system during blasting 30 seconds prior, and again immediately before and at completion of the blasts. It is recommended to keep your windows closed on this day to reduce any noise or dust within living units. It is recommended that vehicles avoid the rear parking lot to avoid dust or potential damage during this time. Residents and staff are requested to park on Pine Street or plan to be off premises, if possible, during the completion of this work.

All residents and guests are requested to use the main entrance to access and exit McVittie Place to further minimize risk and avoid the construction area. During the blasting activities, the fire route will be closed to foot traffic. The municipal sidewalks along Pine Street are recommended for use. For your safety, please obey all safety signage and fenced work areas during construction. Thank you in advance for your cooperation.

Bracebridge Mobility is a public specialized transportation service made available through the Town of Bracebridge for those who are unable to use Bracebridge Transit due to mobility difficulties. The service is a shared-ride service, travelling on door-to-door basis within the Bracebridge Transit Urban Service area.
