Vaccination Policy Updated March 11, 2022

The Ministry is shifting to a guidance- based approach to support long-term care homes with employer-driven immunization policies. Please review the attached Updated Vaccination Policy from The Pines LTC Home with guidance from the Ministry of Long Term Care and the District Municipality of Muskoka to ensure that our policies aligns.

COVID-19 Vaccination Policy Updated March 11, 2022

General Visitors will require to show proof of full vaccination effective March 14, 2022, if five (5) years of age or older. This will continue until March 21, 2022, after this date General Visitors will be able to enter the home without proof of vaccination. If proof is not provided by the general visitor, the visit with the resident will be restricted to their bedroom only.

All IPAC practices continue at this time:

physical distancing;

medical masks at all times in the home;

No eating or drinking with residents;

Use of designated areas for eating and drinking if required
