Weekly Project Update - August 17

Work planned week of August 17 to 21

• Crews will prepare the boulevards between Dickie and Bay Street for paving and continue work on Lena Street access.
• Depending on weather, lay asphalt on the boulevards, pour remaining concrete curbs, and install rest areas.

Work completed week of August 10 to 14

• The sidewalk and curb between Dickie Street and Bay Street are complete, including tactile plates (raised surfaces that help people who are visually impaired navigate the crossing).
• Lena Street was cleared of vegetation and roots, and a new layer of compacted gravel base was added.
