Construction Update

Work continues at 575 First Street South.

The project has reached an important milestone as all housing units have arrived and are in place on site.

Over the coming weeks, crews will install the roof, exterior finishes and property fencing. These finishing touches will complete the building’s appearance and blend in nicely with the surrounding community.

Project renderings are available under the photo gallery. These images show the intended final appearance of the building, though minor adjustments may be made as final planning and construction work continues.

During this phase of the project, nearby residents may notice:

  • Construction noise, machinery, contractor vehicles, moving equipment and deliveries during the day. Work will continue to follow local bylaws to limit work early in the morning and late in the evening.

  • Brief traffic delays due to deliveries

We recognize construction activity can be disruptive. Thank you for your patience as we advance this important housing project and the site takes on its final appearance.
