Construction Update

Phase 1 of the project, including site preparation and excavation work, is now complete.

The site is ready for Phase 2, which includes developing the site, assembling the homes and connecting services to each unit. This work is expected to begin as early as this week.

During construction, nearby residents may notice:

  • More construction trucks and large machines during the early site-clearing work

  • Short traffic slowdowns or minor delays when the homes are delivered to the site

  • A large crane being used to lift and place the homes. Temporary traffic control and site safety measures may be needed

  • Daily construction noise, contractor vehicles, moving equipment and deliveries during the day

We recognize construction activity can be disruptive. Thank you for your patience as we move this important housing project forward.


Timing Update

As with all construction projects, schedules can be affected due to unforeseen conditions.

Finalizing the details for Phase 2 took longer than originally anticipated. As a result, the start of Phase 2 and the overall project schedule have been adjusted.

Occupancy is now expected early winter 2027.
