Weekly Project Update - June 22 to June 28

Work planned the week of June 22 to June 26

Silver Bridge

• Crews will continue installing temporary support structures under the bridge in preparation for upcoming lifting work. Structural steel beams and concrete ballast blocks are scheduled for delivery later in the week.

Ecclestone Drive Retaining Wall

• Crews will continue reinforcement installation and concrete work on the retaining wall.

Work completed the week of June 15 to June 19

Silver Bridge

• Crews completed reinforcement and formwork in preparation for upcoming concrete placement.
• Welding and installation of the temporary support structure at the north end is underway.
• Reinforcement steel and grout pad work at the expansion joint was completed.
  

Ecclestone Drive Retaining Wall

• Reinforcement installation is nearing completion.

Community impacts

• Motorists can expect minor traffic delays during beam deliveries later this week on the south side of the project on Ecclestone Drive. Traffic will be directed by flagging staff.
• Businesses that may be affected by the delivery have been contacted directly by project staff.
