September 4 Project Update

Work planned week of September 7 to September 11

• Preparation for sanitary sewer replacement using pipe bursting technology, which minimizes surface disruption and improves construction efficiency.
• Watermain commissioning and testing.
• Preparation for the installation of traffic signals, curb, and gutter infrastructure.

Work completed week of August 31 to September 4

• Installed new watermain infrastructure, water services, and a fire hydrant.
• Continued excavation for new sanitary sewer service installations.

Community impacts

• Construction crews will be working on Friday, September 11, in lieu of Monday, September 7 (Labour Day).
• Access to businesses and properties will be maintained wherever possible. Traffic control measures will remain in place to support safe travel through the construction zone.
• Following watermain commissioning, a temporary water service interruption will be required to complete service connections. Affected properties will receive advance notice, including a 10-day notice and a 72-hour reminder prior to the interruption.
