August 3 Project Update

Work planned week of August 4 to August 7Crews work to place a structure base and dewater the work area.

• Work planned includes:
  • Sanitary pipe installations continuing south of Rogers Cove.
  • Water line upgrades continue south of Rogers Cove.
  • Installation of forcemain pipe (a pressurized pipe that carries wastewater. to the treatment plant) continues south of Rogers Cove.
  • Storm sewer (rainwater pipe) installation continues north of Rogers Cove.
  • Road reconstruction continues on northbound King William Street.

Work completed week of July 27 to July 31

• Crews installed new sanitary underground pipes, repaired existing sewer lines, and continued installing new piping.
• Sanitary sewer maintenance hole completed south of Rogers Cove.

Community impacts

• Crews will work Friday, August 7 in lieu of Monday, August 3.
• Traffic patterns may change the week of August 3 to 7, with a lane switch over to accommodate watermain installation, storm sewer installations and road base rehabilitation.
• Please watch for signage and reduce speed through the work zone.
