August 17 Project Update
Work planned week of August 17 to August 21
- Crews will continue installing sanitary sewer via pipe bursting method and forcemain via open cut south of Rogers Cove.
- Watermain replacement will continue between Highway 60 and Rogers Cove.
- Storm sewer installation and placement of road base material will continue north of Rogers Cove.
Work completed week of August 10 to August 14
- Crews continued work on maintenance holes including finishing the concrete work and final connections.
- Crews installed storm sewer and placed and compacted new gravel road base to prepare for paving.
- Crews began work on traffic signal installations at the Rogers Cove Drive intersection, including installing underground conduits.
Community impacts
- Traffic lanes are anticipated to shift as work moves from the southbound side of the road to the northbound side.
- Two-way traffic will continue to be maintained through the construction zone.
- Motorists are reminded to follow all posted signage and traffic control measures through the work zone.
