Friends of Fairvern

Happy New Year!

As we enter this new year, The Friends of Fairvern Executive Committee would like to express our gratitude to the staff, volunteers who give of their time and talents to make the residents’ days more special and to our community who have shown their care of the residents who make Fairvern their Home by supporting our fundraising efforts.

2026 promises to be an exciting year as the new Fairvern Long Term Care plans to open this Fall. Our residents will transition to their new Home and the new Home will be able to welcome many more residents from our community who have looked forward to moving to Fairvern’s new state of the art facility.

As a result, more volunteers will be needed to support Fairvern’s increase in capacity. If you know of anyone who may be interested in volunteer opportunities at Fairvern, please encourage them to contact Christina Rochette, Fairvern’s Life Enrichment Manager at: christina.rochette@muskoka.on.ca

Or Phone #705-646-3485

Let’s make 2026 a phenomenal Year!

Friends of Fairvern Baking

Support of our baking sales over 2025 have been amazing. Thank you to those of you who have purchased our baking and to those who have spread the word of our baked goods for sale. This is a major fundraising program for us and it is rewarding to see how successful it has become.

Coming soon:

More Butter Tarts and Raisin Pies, and once again Chicken Pot Pies. New this year, we are going to trial selling some Roast Beef Pot Pies. Yummy comfort food for those frosty night suppers.

Once they’re ready for purchase, we’ll post it on our Facebook page.
