Community Safety and Wellbeing Plan (CSWB)
Tell Us What Community Safety and Wellbeing Means To You!
The District is seeking community input to develop a Community Safety and Wellbeing Plan (CSWB) for Muskoka. CSWB plans target discrimination, racism, financial security and poverty reduction, housing, mental wellbeing and gender-based violence. The District is hosting two virtual community input sessions, as well as an online survey to collect input from the community.
The Solicitor General defines community safety and wellbeing as ‘the ideal state of a sustainable community where everyone is safe, has a sense of belonging, opportunities to participate and where individuals and families are able to meet their needs for education, health care, food, housing, income, social and cultural expression."
We want to hear from you! Community safety and wellbeing involves everyone and safety and wellbeing mean different things to different people. Please join us at one of the upcoming virtual input sessions or share your thoughts by completing the online survey:
