The District supports the enhancement of community well-being with a focus on improving a positive quality of life for our most vulnerable population. One way of helping to achieve this goal is through community-funded programs.
In June of this year the District launched the 2020 Muskoka Community Grant Program and available grant opportunities included the Pay it Forward Grant Program (PIF), The Community Enhancement Fund (CE) and The Social Services Relief Fund (SSRF).
Applicants successful in the SSRF stream and in the Pay it Forward Grant Program were announced August 12.
Applicants successful in the CE stream and the Pay it Forward extension period were announced November 3.
For a full listing of grant recipients, please view the posts in the news feed found below.
The District would like to thank all 2020 Muskoka Community Grant Applicants. We are encouraged to see leaders in our community working together to broaden community engagement in the face of the unique and evolving challenges posed by COVID-19!
